Together with the Department for Employment and Learning in Northern Ireland, Improve has carried out research to develop specific knowledge about young people and who influences their attitudes towards the food and drink industry. This has enabled us to develop a strategy to attract more young people and to drive forward productivity in the industry.
Improve is currently looking to increase the number of students in Northern Ireland who choose to study food-related courses when leaving school at 16 or 18.
