Consultation is now underway for Sustainable Food Production Standards.

This is the final consultation phase of the Sustainability Standards development project. The units below have been developed to meet the needs of the various sectors of the food and drink industry. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas. Please email your comments to Patrick McDaniel patrick@ritraining.co.uk by Friday 27th February.

Sustainability

A number of specialist units have been created to support this area. They can be applied to provide the specialist knowledge and skills needed by people who are responsible for developing and supporting sustainability in a food environment at a strategic, management and operative level.

The units listed are shared environmental units that we hope to import from Lantra, the Sector Skills Council for the land based sector. The aim of these units is to provide the specialist knowledge and skills needed by people who are responsible for implementing and managing environmental initiatives in support of sustainability.
