The Diploma in Science is an exciting new qualification for 14-19 year olds, which will give young people a foundation in scientific theory, and the practical skills necessary to meet the global challenges of tomorrow.
Developed in partnership with employers, education and key stakeholders, the Diploma in Science will provide students with the confidence and enthusiasm to pursue careers involving science, either directly through work or going on to further study.
This new qualification will provide work-related learning and a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving, as well as innovative teaching, learning and assessment. There will also be a focus on practical and investigative work to develop scientific and mathematical skills.
