Improve is currently looking for a consultant to develop a suite of National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Food Technology. The successful candidate will need to investigate each of the industry’s established sectors and develop Standards to meet each of their needs.
The suite may cover:
• Healthy eating and nutrition.
• The science of ingredients and how they interact.
• In-house food testing.
The full scope of the project will need to be determined by the candidate who is expected to submit two drafts of Standards, which will be consulted on by the industry. After receiving research and feedback from key employers and stakeholders in the food and drink industry, a final version will then be required.
