Food and Drink Industry Young Apprenticeship Partnership in England and Wales

Further education colleges, employers and schools have formed partnerships across England in order to run the Young Apprenticeship programme.

Within each partnership, teachers, trainers and employees all have a part to play in helping young people develop their skills and knowledge (although the school retains overall responsibility for their behaviour and welfare at all times). The partnership will:

Support pupils. Support pupils.
Arrange practicalities i.e. inductions, materials and travel.
Enable all parties involved to plan and communicate collaboratively.

Improve currently has three partnerships, which have been awarded government funding to offer the Young Apprenticeship programme in food and drink:

Ipswich, Suffolk Ipswich, Suffolk
Nantwich, Cheshire Nantwich, Cheshire
Bassetlaw, Nottinghamshire Bassetlaw, Nottinghamshire

Improve has provided support and advice to all partnerships in their bid to secure funding.
