Improve Ltd is the Sector Skills Council for Food and Drink Manufacturing in the UK.

Improve Ltd was established in 2004 to drive skills in the UK food and drink industry. Our vision is 'World class skills for a world class sector'.

Since 2004, we have delivered a Sector Skills Agreement and Skills Action Plan for the food and drink manufacturing industry. We have also developed new qualifications and standards to meet industry needs as part of the qualifications reform and launched an employer-led National Skills Academy.

Going forward Improve Ltd will:

• drive the employer led sector qualifications strategy.
• Support the development of vocational learning.
• Promote sector entry and career development.
• Provide insight to the sectors skills issues and continue to engage with employers and give them a voice.
